In collaboration with the Scottish Powerchair Football Association, we recently hosted a vibrant Powerchair Football Festival at The PEAK, Stirling Sports Village.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from local children and young people, who were given a unique opportunity to learn from two Scotland Squad powerchair football players.

These elite athletes provided invaluable support and guidance throughout the festival, offering inspiration by demonstrating the skills and commitment needed to compete at the highest level.

As part of Active Stirling’s SportAbility programme, supporting school aged children, young people, and adults with disabilities and additional support needs, the festival was designed to give children and young people who use powerchairs or manual wheelchairs a chance to actively engage in the fast-paced and exciting sport of Powerchair Football.

The atmosphere was filled with energy and excitement as participants developed their skills and abilities in a day of fun-filled competition.

I would like to thank Craig Peattie from Scottish Powerchair Football, and Kieran Steer and Colin Shields, Scotland Squad players. All the participants had an amazing time learning new skills in the sport of Powerchair Football.
