Stirling Pupils Take Centre Stage at Exciting Dance Event!

Recently, we hosted the highly anticipated Dance event at The PEAK on Wednesday 5 February 2025, bringing together talented secondary school pupils from across Stirling for an unforgettable day of dance, learning, and inspiration.

The Scottish Institute of Theatre Dance Film and Television performed part of their year-end showcase, hosted an engaging Q&A session, providing young dancers with valuable insight into the world of professional dance and performance. The secondary dancers got to experience two brilliant workshops in Jazz and Commercial that was delivered by the college lecturers.

Pupils from Balfron High, Wallace High, Bannockburn High, St Modan’s High, and Dunblane High participated in the event, co-ordinated by Active Stirling’s Active Schools Team. A highlight of the day was a mass dance performance, featuring a surprise that will be unveiled later this year.

Watch the magic unfold and witness Stirling’s young dancers shine!

Thank you to The Scottish Institute for sharing your amazing showcase with our secondary pupils. They were all inspired. The dancers loved having the opportunity to be taught by the lecturers and ask questions. Everyone was amazing. Well done!
