Craig Allan, a dedicated volunteer with Active Stirling, has been recognised with the Volunteering for Sport, Leisure, and Culture Award at the Inspire Volunteering Awards, hosted by Stirlingshire Voluntary Enterprise at The Albert Halls in Stirling.

Craig was honoured for his exceptional work with the Bikes Without Barriers and SportAbility programmes. Since the launch of Bikes Without Barriers, he has been a key member of the team, gaining a cycling qualification and learning bike mechanics to further support the initiative. His passion and dedication have left a lasting impact on both programmes and the community.

Upon receiving the award, Craig expressed his delight and surprise:

"I’m still in shock that I’ve won this award. I love volunteering and being part of the Bikes Without Barriers programme with Active Stirling."

Congratulations to Craig on this well-deserved award. His commitment and enthusiasm are invaluable, and we’re thrilled to have him as part of the team. We’re always looking for more volunteers to join us. Bikes Without Barriers is a brilliant programme where you can learn new skills, meet people, and make a real difference while having fun.
